Low -Level Laser Therapy
(LLLT)
Low-level laser therapy (LLLT) is a non-invasive treatment for hair restoration using low-level lasers to promoting hair growth and improve thickness. By increasing blood flow to the scalp and encouraging cellular activity, LLLT can help combat hair loss and promote healthier, fuller hair. This treatment is typically painless and requires regular sessions over an extended period to see noticeable results.
Overview
-
A head-wear device is worn like a helmet. This produces specific light frequencies in the red range, which bathe the scalp in light.
-
Evidence has shown these specific wave lengths of light improve blood flow to the skin. This in turn improves cellular function of the follicle, improving hair growth, thickness and density.
-
Each session lasts for 30 minutes. We recommend regular sessions to see maximal effect.
-
There is no recovery time involved after this procedure.
-
With regular sessions you should start noticing improvement around 3 months.
-
This is a non-invasive procedure without associated risks.
During the procedure the head can become warm but is only mild and not painful.
